Peterborough United Football Club (POSH) recently called upon the services of
Zephyr-tvc to help sort out its flag problems. The flags & poles situated on the stands at
London Road were in need of
some care and attention. The supporters had been asking the club to get the flags changed and with
Posh drawing Everton in the Carling Cup, it seemed a perfect time to get things moving. After a
swift site inspection it was agreed that the assistance of the local Fire service would be required
to assist Zephyr in putting the poles back into proper working order. Zephyr met the fire brigade on
site who used it as a training exercise. After some 4 hours on site the poles had been renovated and
were now in perfect working order. Zephyr produced a Union,
Peterborough Crest, Posh & Haart flag specially to be flown at the Everton match. Zephyr
completed the entire transformation in under two weeks and were pleased that they could help out
Posh and their supporters. Leigh
Porter, Peterborough United commercial manager comments. “The fans have been asking for new flags
for a while now and the game against Everton was our biggest match for decades, so we were delighted
that Zephyr was able to deliver the new flags to the grounds in time for this historic match”.
